Kenviir - Man in the shadows
Domain : Shadow Darkness Illusion Fate
The god of shadows. Kenviir the swift blade was a mortal man who lived his life as a thief. One day while searching for something he was hired to find the mage who lived in the tower caught him. Rather than attempting to kill him the mage decided to banish him from this plane. Deciding to let the Gods decide he modified his spell to destroy the body and cast the thief's soul into the plane of the Gods. Upon arriving there the thief was surprised to see his body had came with him. Unknown to the wizard he had made a mistake and had transported Kenviir to the plane. While on the plane Kenviir decided what better test of himself than to try and steal something from the Gods. Since the most of the God's places were protected against teleporting in and against other Gods. Kenviir was able to sneak into the God of light and justice's resting place. Slowly he snuck up on a God who was pondering something else. Kenviir noticed the shadow of the God Aderif was for some reason or another tangible. Though it was also small Kenviir tried grasping it. When his hands felt something real he pulled. Thus through fate he was able to pull the shadow from the God. Aderif never noticed his shadow was gone for several weeks. As he was consumed in his pursuit of justice and basking others in his light. When he did find out he was able to track down Kenviir who was still trapped in the plane of the Gods. Kenviir was eating on some deer he had found wandering in a garden. The God of nature and renewal Do'Sek came upon him before Aderif did. Do'Sek spared Kenviir's life when Kenviir told her of his exploits. Also when Kenviir showed Do'Sek the shadow he had stolen from Aderif. In Kenviir's care the shadow had attached itself to him and was now larger and more substantial. While Do'Sek and Kenviir were talking Aderif appeared. Full of rage Aderif was prepared to extract justice and wanted to cut off both of Kenviir's hands off. After appearing he noticed that his old shadow had grown quite attached to Kenviir and it almost appeared to be alive. Do'Sek spoke to Aderif and convinced him that since he was shining light all the time the shadow hindered him overall. Kenviir promised no harm to both Aderif and Do'Sek when they both helped him find a way back home plus had given him some power.

Kytheri - Fate's Cruel Joke
Domain : Fate Trickery Luck Halfling
One day Kytheri was wandering in a town. She came across a temple that looked weathly. She figured the clergy did not need that much money as they had their God to provide. She stealthily entered the gates. After wandering around for a minute she realized this place was empty. Then she came across a man standing along among a large number of bodies. This man had tears in his eyes and appeared quite distressed over this. Hoping to cheer him up she went to pat his waist and came across a set of keys. After talking to him for a minute she told him of her bet to steal the keys off of the gatekeeper to the underworld. Realizing quickly whom this person was and what the keys were she brought them out and jingled them. Muttering something about balance Nol raised Kytheri to deity status and granted her the power over Trickery and her race. After a brief meeting with the three elder gods Cy, Do'Sek, and Erio. The Elder Gods decided that with the luck the halfling have so often perhaps it was fate that brought this about. As it was luck the brought Kenviir about. So they gave Kytheri also mastery over Fate and luck. After the meeting did Kytheri realize there is no mastery over fate or luck. It ruled you as the stormy ocean rules a little boat.

Elisani - The Cruel Temptress
Domain : Trickery Illusion Charm
At the core of the worship of Elisani is the belief that nothing is real except their goddess, everything else is just an illusion of her making, because there is no reality there is no reason to care for others, they're not real anyway! So the worshippers of Elisani take an extremely selfish and hedonistic approach to life. Her worshippers tend to be just a *teeensy* bit mad, since they often believe there is no difference between illusions and reality (since everything is an illusion anyway) however, the Goddess is Real. This is the most important piece of dogma that is whipped into her worshippers: Everything else may be false, but you can trust in the godess. Serve her and she'll reward with illusions of pleasure, (illusions are reality, remember?) Defy her and she will pull the veil from your eyes, witnessing the true horror that the world *really* is, leaving you screaming and crying for her comforting illusions.
Priests of Elisani (known as Truthseers) are those whom the godess have granted a special gift: They have seen a glimpse of the True World and survived, and thus learned the importance of maintaing the Illusion, and most important of all, the strength of their godess. Truthseers tend to spend a lot of time recruiting worshippers to the grisly rituals of Elisani, where hapless prisoners are sacrificed to the Godess, to give her strength to maintain the Illusion.

Lesyrr -
Domain : Chaos Strength Retribution Good
Lesyrr is a god of personal empowerment. He exhorts all his followers to act in his name whenever they see injustice or oppression. His clergy are particularly vocal when it comes to the elimination of tyranny of any sort. His followers are typically large strong males, who act in his name regardless of custom, tradition or law. There are many who oppose the followers of Lesyrr, either because they represent the destruction of an order that they are profiting from, or because they see the actions of his followers as too random and disordered to accomplish any real good.
There are many zealots who are attracted to the church of Lesyrr, and many of them end up as martyrs to the cause. This seems to simply encourage more outbreaks and uprisings, as Lesyrr clerics are always ready to assist one who has suffered for a cause.
Lesyrr is the naked fist that smites a tyrant, the hammer that smashes slave chains, and the public outcry that brings a grasping baron low.

Vel -
Domain : Death Hatred Strenght
Vel always thought he was cheated out of what he deserved. He figures that if the only mortals on the planet worshiped him then he would be more powerful than the rest. So he promotes killing the followers of other deities. Seeing how most mortal men eventually see the folly in this idea Vel promotes himself among the orc and goblinoid population. Just about any evil creature that hates the chosen races is easy to convince. Since Vel does not ally with any deity and is indiscriminate in killing most gods oppose him. Due to so many evil creatures that follow him it has made him difficult to destroy. Also some of the evil gods see Vel as an enemy of my enemy so sometimes try to assist him. Vel preaches that strength is absolute and the strongest will win. Failure is death. Once the others are destroyed Vel will reward his followers.

Tinara -
Domain : Elf Plant Protection
Tinara or the "Mother of Forest" is the mother-goddess of the elves, she is known as a caring, nurturing goddess, she prefers the serenity of plants before the activity of animals and to her the contemplative life is the ultimate. Her priests sustain themselves entirely upon meat and oither animal-products, refusing to harm "The goddess Children" as plants are known, or even to take something meant for them.
The priests, known as "Leafwardens" strive with all their might to protect vegetable life, with allies such as treeants and shambling mounds as well as the various types of carnivorous plants they can be a force to be reckoned with within elven woods. Although they themselves abstain from consuming vegetable matter they accept that this strict lifestyle is not for everyone, the Elves often call a Leafwarder to give thanks after a harvest, for the Godess noble sacrifice of her children.

Khail -
Domain : Craft Gnome Illusion Knowledge Trade
Khail is a new God. He once was a great crafter and inventor. He was a human that lived in a gnome village. Spent his entire life crafting. He made and invented many new items and tools. He was given the amulet that identified him as Gnomefriend. All this though pales in comparison to his greatest achievement. When he got rich enough he started smelting gold and stamping his own coins. Then he put a simple prayer on the back of the coins. He did this for vanity and because with his estabilished gold coins he never had to worry about weighing to make sure it was the correct amount for payment. He also got the coins enchanted so he was able to tell which coins were his and which were fakes. It was with this he also setup a banking system. The gnomes loved this as it helped them get more materials to make stuff with. In a effort to push his coin to another island he hired people to spread the world that you can trust in Khail. He ment in his gold coins but people started believing that if they prayed to him they could gain wealth. Since his coins were worth more it worked. Suddenly he had followers praying to him. It started out with only a few hundred but after word spread to get a coin of his then pray others followed. Soon Khail was greeted by Nol who informed him that he had a lot of followers. Nol asked if he would answer thier prayers if Khail could. Khail said the wealth wasn't what intersted him. He just wanted to make life easier for him and his people. Nol sensing no lie also saw the lack of any Diety for the average human and gnome. Nol spoke with some of the other Deities and showed them the ten thousand followers Khail had so far. In this they inducted Khail as another power with the rest of the Gods. Now the island where Khail came from has grown quite prosperous. It also due to its wealth inspired some jelously and hatred towards them.

Nikireal - The Forever Man
Domain : Magic Knowledge Spell Planning Travel Rune
Nikireal is known as the Forever Man. He has simply existed since the dawn of time. Even if he tried to remember where he began he could not. He normally kept in the background of the world. Controlling the flows of magic. Making sure it was consistent. He controls the spout at the top that pours down on the world making it spin. He also controls the flow coming back up from the other side keeping magic alive even in the darkness. After so many years of doing this job he grew tired and sense a weakness in the flow. Knowing the magic was responding to his own emotions he knew he could not keep it up for much longer. It was at this time he saw two promising young people fighting. He decided that with the spirit and energy they have inside of themselves they could maintain the flow for a few thousand years so he could rest and recuperate. He summoned them both and split his power in half for them. Then disappeared. The resulting chaos and destruction he expected. He figured they would exhaust themselves then work together. The resulting war that resulted intrigued him more. Knowing the remaining Gods would not allow those two to harm the world too much he went off wandering the world enjoying his rest. Since a majority of his power was not reliant on followers he no longer answers the prayers of his followers. He directed them to the new watchers of magic and choose to fade away as a legend.
